Description of Works:

​

We carried out a decommissioning and strip out on an existing two pump booster pumping station at Blackhurst Tower, which was carried out over two separate phases for each pump as we were installing a two new booster pumps and two MCCs over the 4-week period, we also completed a night shutdown for the DNO power outage which was success.

SRE completed the Mechanical and Electrical Installations on site installing new pipework and valves to the new booster pumps in the Booster Pump Chamber. We installed new Cable Management Systems for the Booster Pumps and Ventilation Fans installed in the programme, we fitted IFM Suction and Discharge Instrumentation to the new pipework on each booster pump and fitted local E-Stops for the pumps.

We installed the Booster Pump and Distribution MCCs and a Process Distribution Board within the existing pump house and installed new cable management systems, while keeping the existing MCC for the existing booster pumps running while we completed the changeover on each pump which was a success and the new MCCs are commissioned and the pumps are working on the Mitsubishi VSD Drives.

Our client was very happy with the Mechanical and Electrical Installation completed and delivered on time by our team in the 4-week period, looking forward to working with them very soon on the next MEICA Project.
